This Miami heat is nothing to joke about. The moment you walk outside you feel like melting! Staying hydrated is so important these next few months- and making sure our kids stay hydrated, too. Dehydration does so much damage to our body- so make sure you always have a water bottle filled up with you wherever you are! Enough of the lecture. Our latest obsession is popsicles! They're fun, delicious, and keep you cool! We stumbled across these popsicle recipes and jut had to share. Sometimes, we all need a rainy day. Whether it's telling Dad to take the kids to the movies and getting some alone time, or staying in with the whole family spending some needed quality time- a day in could benefit us all. The last few days have been so gloomy, and I'm surprisingly thankful. Getting some time to just relax and do nothing really fills me inside. A day off from stress and running around, even if we still have to entertain the kid at home. That's a different type of busy- a fun, loving, enjoyable busy. Rainy days don't have to be sad, so here are some of our favorite blue things: Blueberries: a great healthy snack (an awesome treat for your dog, too!) filled with antioxidants  Divide by Ed Sheeran: if you haven't heard his latest album yet, get to it  Navy Checkered Clothing: for an elegant, nautical look  Petit Atelier Colette Navy Checkered Dress Blue Flowers: a rarity, but these are so beautiful. A simple reminder that you need a little water to grow  Take the rain as a good thing. Without it, nothing would grow. Yes, our pools are overflowing, but life could be worse, right? Enjoy the next few days of rain as much as you can. Cuddle, cook (or order take out), and spend time with the people you love (or yourself).

Here at Petit Atelier we want to change that. Monday's should be the start of something beautiful! A happy week, a healthy week, filled with fun and fashion! Here are a few things to do with the whole family to ensure a great (non-sucky) Monday. Leave a note in your kids' (and your hubby's) lunch for a sweet reminder that you're thinking about them in the middle of the day. Movie Night  I know, I know, early wake up time. Make sure Monday's homework gets done early in the afternoon and end the day with a family movie night. Pop some popcorn and sit in the family room after dinner and watch a movie! Might we suggest a classic that the kid's haven't already seen (and a nice throwback for us) like 101 Dalmations & Peter Pan for our younger kids, or the Harry Potter series for our older kids.
Try and look at the bright side of a new week. A fresh start to set forth new goals, new traditions, and overall happiness.
